Overview Of The Samsung Galaxy S10

Samsung Galaxy S10

Samsung Group is a South Korean multinational conglomerate comprising of numerous affiliated businesses. The brand creates a lot of buzz in terms of mobile phones. Its Galaxy S series is a line of high-end Android smartphones and tablets. The first device in the series, the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone was released in June of that year. Even before the release of S9, rumors are twirling about Galaxy S10. Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Edge are expected to launch by the end of 2018. These high-end phones will feature powerful technology and incredible features. In recent years Samsung has been on the top list with its flagship Galaxy smartphone series and given its past performance, we can expect better innovations from Samsung. Galaxy S8 has been the best looking phone on the market with its large curved screen or as Samsung calls it infinity display. Larger screens and smaller bezels (or curved edges that push the bezel out of sight) is the latest trend in smartphone design. We can expect the same trend to be followed in Galaxy S10. One major flaw of the S8 design was that there is no room for the fingerprint-sensing Home button to lie on the front. Instead, it is placed on the back, next to the camera which many people find it traditional and difficult to reach. Samsung tried multiple times to engineer a fingerprint reader into the screen itself but it failed and had to settle for a traditional sensor on the back. A recent report suggests that Samsung has abandoned plans to include an in-display fingerprint scanner in the upcoming Galaxy S9. But there is a ray of hope that Galaxy S10 will rectify its odd fingerprint sensor location or come up with other biometric recognition technology. There is no chance that Samsung would remove fingerprint sensors from its devices as many of its software services are based on the technology. For better security, S10 will also feature improved iris scanner and face recognition as of in S8 this feature is not up to the mark. The Samsung Galaxy S10 will run on updated Android 8 version which facilitates 2x the boot speed when powering up, use two apps at once etc. With Android Oreo, you can share feelings with fully redesigned emoji set, including over 60 new Emojis. Rumors have suggested that Qualcomm will likely be launching the new Snapdragon 845 processor at this year’s Snapdragon Technology Summit in December. Samsung is usually the first mobile company to get the new Snapdragon processor and Galaxy S10 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s next big SoC, Snapdragon 845. It will use a mix of Qualcomm and Exynos chips, including the Snapdragon 845 and the Exynos 9810. In the last couple of years, we have seen least innovations in terms of battery. Recently Samsung has invented a new battery technology which could charge the phone in just 12 minutes. It has developed graphene ball based Lithium-ion batteries that can last longer and can charge faster. We can expect this new battery technology in S10. As Galaxy S8 had only 4GB RAM, S10 is expected to have 6 or 8GB RAM.
